Something Beautiful has definitely begun ...

The journey of something beautiful started on the 12th April and the 27th April saw our first photoshoot.
We wondered through Nottingham's Arboretum with a camera and a beautiful clock on the end of a gold necklace.

Pippa was our model, Kim was the photographer and I was the documenter.

Cool is ...

While spending several hours on one of my favourite websites http://www.thecoolhunter.com/ I decided to make a list of what I think is cool.

Limited Edition items; I have a weird colletion of limited edition Evian and Coca-Cola bottles. I picked up my first one in New York (a Christian Lacroix Evian Bottle) and since then my collection has just grown.

This Pacman Mini I found when grazing the internet; the perfect posing car.

Gucci Feat. Ronson

Gucci X Mark Ronson is the designer giants latest collaboration; the trainer collection shows the street style of the musician mixed with the luxurious factor of the italian giants.

Gucci X which will be launched in time with the London leg of the brands Icon Temporary Shop, which will be based in Covent Garden from April 22nd.

The collection which features 15 styles for men and only 2 for females; Fria Gianni states, the collaboration felt natural: “From the moment Mark and I started talking about this project we connected. He has a great eye for design and an amazing knowledge of sneaker history. He is an artist whose influence is cross-cultural and cross-generational”.

Garance Dore and Demi ...

Influential blogger Garance Dore has produced a sketch of Demi Moore for the collectors edition of British Elle.

The black and white image shows Demi's beauty to perfection, I'll definitely be collecting this edition

Disney does designer ...

As a child (in my house anyway) Disney was permanently on, so imagine how happy ELLE ESPANA made this little girl when it created Disney characters like my fave designers.

Goofy becomes Uncle Karl, Daisy Duck is an uncanny version of Donnatella Versace and my personal favourite is Donald Duck as Marc Jacobs. Disney never fails to bring a smile to my face and these pictures may have just made my month.

The start of Something Beautiful ...

Our latest and possibly most exciting project since the start of our degree is our brief set by Alex Zamora, creator of FeverZine ... with my wonderful friends Kim and Pippa we have the task of creating a magazine. the subject, layout and distribution channels are all decided by us.

Today marked the launch of our creation, Something Beautiful with the first issue telling stories of photography.

Grace Kelly: Style Icon

London's V & A museum have taken it upon themselves to recrate the wardrobe of arguably one of the greatest style icons in recent years; Grace Kelly. For once I'm hoping for a trip to London.

The collection split into ; The Actress, The Bride and The Princess. Each section of her life will be told through her beautiful outfits. Opening on the 17th April and I can't wait to go and explore.

Her vast collection of clothing, jewellery, hats and of course her range of Hermes Kelly bags are sure to wow the crowd. Pictures, films and oscar statuettes will accompany the amazing exhibition.

The Fantastic man to The Gentlewoman

The editors that introduced the world to Fantastic Man magazine have created a fashion bible for the unique woman; Issue 1 focuses on women that have influenced the fashion and art world with their innovative decisions and creations.

Gentlewoman is a bi-annual style magazine for woman embracing the fashions and inspirations for woman of 2010; it features editorials explaining how woman look, think and dress.
