Karl Lagerfeld unveiled a strange choice of footwear during his Spring/Summer 2010 Chanel show in Paris. His models strutted down a barnyard-themed catwalk wearing (if possible) the stiletto version of the clog. Available in black, white and red as soon as the barn doors opened the fashion pack saw the shoe of next season

While I don't love the idea of a wooden shoe you can't deny that once again Uncle Karl managed to make obscurity work. Pretty dresses, straw bags and leg ties allow the once clumpy shoe to become a fashion must have, which strangely has already been seen on Mary-Kate Olsen. Chanel has once again pushed the boundaries of 'normality' while still keeping in the limits of fashion.
